We make a round circle through the ancient Smyrna, the home town of Homer and the third biggest city of the Turkey. The following sightseeing’s are in our program: driving over the mount Pagos, visiting the citadel which dates 4. Century, enjoying from an impressing panorama of the city, the Golf of Izmir and a roman agora which accommodates well preserved Columns and Statues of Poseidon and Artemis. Further we will drive to Pergamon, one of the impressing cities of minor Asia. We see fundaments of the Zeus altar and the Library; glance at the Theatre. Asklepeion is an ancient Greek sanatorium, waiting us in the down town. 

Pamukkale is famous not only for the extraordinary beauty of its unique geological formations, but also for its historical remains of Hierapolis which is located directly on top of the travertines. After the rumbling on this beauty; you will have still time for swimming in thermal hotel. 

On the way to Aphrodisias we will have break at Carpet Weaving Center and see the story of how carpets are made. We will learn the steps made from the raw material, silk, wool and cotton, right through to the finished product. Not only good conserved ruins but also magnificent foundation makes the Aphrodisias one of the famous archeological city of east Mediterranean at Greco-Roman time. Four overnights in Kuşadası.

We will drive to Didyma. The Apollon Temple is definitely evidence of the power and pride of Roman period. Even before the Ionians Didyma was sacral city and its oracles was very attended and dreaded persons.  In Miletus, the home town of famous Thales, we will visit the Theatre and the Bath. In the harbor town Priene we explore the Hellenistic Amphitheatre and the Athena Temple.
